1. Agreement

By using allora ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What allora Is

allora is a task and reminder assistant that communicates via SMS, MMS, RCS, and WhatsApp. You text us tasks and reminders, and we schedule, remind, and keep things moving.

allora is a productivity tool. It is not a medical, legal, financial, or professional advisory service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use allora. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

If we discover that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account and delete their data without notice.

4. Service Availability

The Service is available internationally. Service features, messaging channels, and delivery may vary by region. For information about how we handle your data based on your location, see our Privacy Policy and International Privacy Notice.

5. Billing

allora offers a free 3-day trial on both plans. After the trial, your card is charged for the plan you chose and your subscription begins. Cancel from your account at textallora.com/account (or text CANCEL ACCOUNT) before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

  • Monthly: $15/month, billed every month.
  • Annual: $90/year (works out to $7.50/month), billed once per year.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. If you provide an email address during checkout, allora will use it for account communications, billing notifications, and marketing emails (see Email Communications below).

Automatic renewal. Both plans renew automatically - monthly plans every month, annual plans every year - at the then-current price, until you cancel. For annual plans, we will send you a renewal reminder by text message (and by email where we have your email address) at least 15 days before each yearly renewal, stating the renewal date, the amount, and how to cancel. We may change prices with 30 days' notice via SMS; for annual plans, any price change applies only at your next renewal.

Cancellation and Deletion

You may cancel your subscription at any time by texting CANCEL ACCOUNT or through your account settings at textallora.com/account. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. After the trial, when you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you retain full access until the end of the period you have already paid for (for annual plans, the rest of the year).

Subscription fees are non-refundable, and cancelling does not automatically generate a refund. We may, at our sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis, grant a refund (for example, a prorated refund of unused time). Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable law. For a refund request, text CANCEL ACCOUNT or email hello@textallora.com.

After your billing period ends or you request account deletion, your data is preserved for 30 days in case you wish to return. During this period, your tasks, messages, reminders, and preferences remain intact. You can reactivate by texting back or logging in. After 30 days, your product data (tasks, messages, reminders, calendar data, preferences) is permanently deleted. Your identity record and billing history are retained for legal and tax compliance. Payment Failures

If a payment fails, your subscription status is marked as past due. Our payment processor (Stripe) will automatically retry the charge. Your access to the service continues during the retry period. If all retry attempts fail, your subscription is canceled and the standard cancellation and data retention terms apply.

Referral Program

allora offers a referral program. When you share your referral code and someone signs up using it, both you and the referred user earn a $5 credit once the referred user qualifies. To qualify, the referred user must remain on a paid plan after their free trial ends. The free trial is one-time only, based on account creation date, not subscription date.

Credits are applied automatically as a discount on your next invoice. Key terms:

  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
  • Unused credits expire 90 days after they are earned
  • Maximum credit applied per invoice: 50% of the invoice total, up to $50 in referral credits per billing cycle
  • One credit per referred user (duplicate referrals do not earn additional credits)

You may not use your own referral code. Abuse of the referral program, including creating multiple accounts, using automated tools to distribute codes, or any fraudulent activity, may result in forfeiture of all earned credits and deactivation of your referral code.

If a referred user receives a refund or disputes a charge, credits earned from that referral will be revoked for both parties. allora reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time.

6. SMS and WhatsApp Terms

By signing up, you consent to receive automated messages at the number you provide, including reminders, recommendations, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

  • Pause messages: text PAUSE (resume with RESUME)
  • Stop all messages: text STOP (re-subscribe with START)
  • Help: text HELP, or contact us at hello@textallora.com

Delivery is not guaranteed. SMS and WhatsApp depend on third-party carrier networks, Twilio's infrastructure, and your device. Messages may be delayed, filtered, or undelivered due to factors outside our control. We are not liable for delivery failures, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Email Communications

By completing checkout, you agree to receive emails at the email address provided during payment. These include:

  • Transactional emails: billing notifications, payment confirmations, account security alerts, and legal notices
  • Marketing and engagement emails: product updates, feedback requests, and re-engagement messages

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email or by emailing hello@textallora.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to your account and billing.

7. AI Limitations

allora uses AI from providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to process your messages and generate responses. AI is not perfect. It may:

  • Misinterpret dates or times (e.g., "9" parsed as AM instead of PM)
  • Fail to extract a task from an ambiguous message
  • Schedule a reminder at the wrong time
  • Generate a response that doesn't match your intent

You are responsible for verifying that reminders are set correctly by reviewing the confirmation message allora sends. If it's wrong, reply to correct it.

When you share a link, allora may retrieve and analyze the content. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information extracted from third-party websites.

Do Not Rely on allora For:

  • Medication schedules or medical appointments
  • Legal deadlines (court dates, filings, statute of limitations)
  • Financial deadlines (tax filings, payment due dates)
  • Safety-critical actions
  • Emergency services dispatch (911, fire, police, ambulance, poison control) - allora cannot place emergency calls on your behalf
  • Any situation where a missed reminder could cause personal harm, financial loss, or legal consequences

allora is a supplementary productivity tool, not a replacement for calendars, alarms, or professional services.

8. Calendar Integrations

You may optionally connect your Google, Microsoft Outlook, or Apple (iCloud) calendar. Calendar integration is not required to use allora.

With calendar access enabled, allora can create, edit, move, and cancel events on your connected calendars when you ask it to, including events you created elsewhere. Cancelling or moving an event that has other attendees will notify those attendees through your calendar provider; this cannot be undone by allora. You are responsible for reviewing calendar changes allora makes at your request.

If you ask allora to manage events that include other people's information (such as attendee names or email addresses), you represent that you have the right to share that information with us for that purpose.

You can change your access level or disconnect any calendar at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details on calendar data handling.

Calendar events created or changed by allora are not guaranteed to be accurate. AI may misinterpret your request (e.g., wrong date, wrong duration). You are responsible for reviewing calendar events after creation or modification and correcting any errors.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Send illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Use the Service to send spam or bulk messages
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or bans
  • Impersonate others
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, at our sole discretion, without notice or refund, if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior, use the Service for spam, or act in a manner harmful to the Service or other users.

If we terminate your account for reasons unrelated to a Terms violation, we will refund any prepaid unused subscription fees on a prorated basis.

10. Content Ownership

You own the content you send to allora. You grant us a limited license to process and store it to operate the Service. We own the allora service, brand, and technology.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI PROCESSING WILL BE ACCURATE, THAT REMINDERS WILL BE DELIVERED ON TIME, OR THAT SMS DELIVERY WILL SUCCEED. THE SERVICE DEPENDS ON THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS (TWILIO, CARRIER NETWORKS, CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE) WHOSE AVAILABILITY IS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

  • LOSS FROM MISSED, LATE, OR INACCURATE REMINDERS
  • LOSS FROM AI MISINTERPRETATION OF MESSAGES
  • LOSS FROM SMS OR WHATSAPP DELIVERY FAILURES
  • LOSS FROM CALENDAR EVENTS CREATED WITH INCORRECT DETAILS
  • LOSS FROM CALENDAR EVENTS EDITED, MOVED, OR CANCELLED AT YOUR REQUEST, INCLUDING ATTENDEE NOTIFICATIONS
  • LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR (B) $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS LIMIT THESE EXCLUSIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold allora harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

Informal first: Before formal proceedings, contact hello@textallora.com and attempt to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.

Arbitration: Unresolved disputes will be settled by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Class action waiver: YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

Small claims exception: Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.

Opt-out: You may opt out of arbitration by emailing hello@textallora.com within 30 days of first using the Service. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in courts in the State of Colorado.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

16. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via SMS. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and cancel your account.
