This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and provides additional information for users located outside the United States and Canada.
allora is operated by TextAllora, located in Colorado, United States. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, TextAllora is the data controller responsible for your personal data.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access - Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification - Request correction of inaccurate data. You can update your name and timezone by texting us directly.
- Erasure - Request deletion of your data. Text CANCEL ACCOUNT or use account settings. Data is deleted after a 30-day grace period.
- Data portability - Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. Available in your account settings.
- Restrict processing - Request that we limit how we use your data while a concern is being resolved.
- Object - Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including service-related follow-ups.
- Withdraw consent - Where processing is based on consent (e.g., analytics cookies), you may withdraw consent at any time through the privacy choices on our website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Complaint - Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

AI Processing
Your messages are processed by AI services (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini) to extract tasks, set reminders, and generate responses. This processing is necessary to deliver the service you signed up for.
We do not make any decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Task extraction and reminders are assistive - you control what to act on.
Message content is processed under each provider's API terms and is not used to train their models.
Data Transfers
Your data is stored and processed in the United States. By using allora, you acknowledge that your data is transferred to the United States. We protect your data using encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and the security measures described in our Privacy Policy.

Data Protection Officer
We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under Article 37 of the GDPR. We are a small company and do not engage in large-scale systematic monitoring of individuals or large-scale processing of special categories of data.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal data. The rights listed above apply to you. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. A list of EU data protection authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.
Brazil
If you are located in Brazil, the Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados (LGPD) applies. You have the rights listed above, plus the right to request information about entities with whom your data has been shared. Contact hello@textallora.com.
